BB2 vs Y-Town

The Wednesday Women's League at Akron Indoor Soccer saw some exciting matches and high-scoring games on November 29, 2023. Here is a recap of the action:

- Goal Diggers vs Buckeye Bullets: The Buckeye Bullets dominated this match from start to finish, scoring 13 goals and conceding only 5. They showed their offensive prowess and defensive solidity, as they outplayed the Goal Diggers in every aspect. The Goal Diggers tried to put up a fight, but they were no match for the Bullets, who improved their record to 2-1-1 and moved up to fifth place in the standings.

The Wednesday Womens League continued its season with five exciting games at Akron Indoor Soccer on November 8th. The league features 10 teams competing for the championship trophy in a round-robin format.

The first game of the night was a thrilling draw between Buckeye Bullets and Sharp Shooters, who both have one win and one tie after two games. The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams scoring six goals each. Buckeye Bullets had the lead three times, but Sharp Shooters equalized every time. The game ended 6-6, with both teams sharing the points.

The second game was a one-sided rout, as Goal Diggers suffered their second consecutive defeat, losing 6-16 to FFC 2. Goal Diggers are 0-2 while giving up 24 goals, the most in the league. FFC 2 are 2-0 while scoring 25 goals, the most in the league. FFC 2 showed their offensive prowess, scoring eight goals in each half. Goal Diggers could not cope with the pressure, and only managed to score six goals in the game.

The third game was a close contest, as You Can’t Sit With Us edged out Y-Town 8-4. You Can’t Sit With Us are 2-0, while Y-Town are 0-2. You Can’t Sit With Us took the lead in the first half, scoring five goals and conceding two. Y-Town tried to mount a comeback in the second half, scoring two more goals, but You Can’t Sit With Us scored three more goals to seal the win.

The fourth game was a comfortable victory for AKC, who beat Y-Town 2.0 11-4. Both teams are 1-1, with AKC being ahead via goal difference. The first match of the night saw You Can’t Sit With Us take on AKC in a one-sided affair. You Can’t Sit With Us showed their superior skills and teamwork as they scored 10 goals and conceded only two. AKC tried their best to keep up, but they were no match for the relentless pressure and pace of their opponents. The final score was 10-2 in favor of You Can’t Sit With Us, who claimed the top spot in the league table after the first week.

The second match was a similar story, as Sharp Shooters faced WHJ in another lopsided game. Sharp Shooters lived up to their name as they found the back of the net 10 times and allowed only three goals.
