Then, Scrubs’ midfielder scored a stunning goal from a long range, giving her team the edge. Fabulous Fireballs pushed for an equalizer, but Scrubs’ goalkeeper made some crucial saves to preserve the lead. In the final minute, Scrubs’ winger sealed the win with a breakaway goal, sparking celebrations among her teammates.
The Monday Night Women’s League will resume next week, with Scrubs facing Rusty Shots in a clash of the unbeaten teams at 7 PM, followed by Hot Feet taking on Fabulous Fireballs at 8 PM.
