The Monday Night Women’s League at Akron Indoor Soccer saw some thrilling action as the teams battled for points and pride. In the first game, Fabulous Fireballs showed their dominance over Y-Town 45 with a convincing 8-4 win. The Fireballs scored four goals in each half, with their striker netting a hat-trick and their midfielder adding two more. Y-Town 45 tried to keep up with the pace, but could only manage two goals in each half, despite some good saves from their goalkeeper. The result moved Fabulous Fireballs to the third spot in the table, while Y-Town 45 remained at the bottom.
The second game was a much closer affair, as Hot Feet and Rusty Shots played out a 4-4 draw. Both teams exchanged goals throughout the game, with neither side able to take a clear lead. Hot Feet took the lead twice in the first half, but Rusty Shots equalized both times. The same pattern continued in the second half, as Rusty Shots scored two quick goals to go ahead, but Hot Feet fought back to level the score. The draw kept Hot Feet in the second place, while Rusty Shots stayed in the fifth position.
