Wednesday Women’s League: FFC 2 and You Can’t Sit With Us remain unbeaten after second week

The Wednesday Womens League continued its season with five exciting games at Akron Indoor Soccer on November 8th. The league features 10 teams competing for the championship trophy in a round-robin format.

The first game of the night was a thrilling draw between Buckeye Bullets and Sharp Shooters, who both have one win and one tie after two games. The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams scoring six goals each. Buckeye Bullets had the lead three times, but Sharp Shooters equalized every time. The game ended 6-6, with both teams sharing the points.

The second game was a one-sided rout, as Goal Diggers suffered their second consecutive defeat, losing 6-16 to FFC 2. Goal Diggers are 0-2 while giving up 24 goals, the most in the league. FFC 2 are 2-0 while scoring 25 goals, the most in the league. FFC 2 showed their offensive prowess, scoring eight goals in each half. Goal Diggers could not cope with the pressure, and only managed to score six goals in the game.

The third game was a close contest, as You Can’t Sit With Us edged out Y-Town 8-4. You Can’t Sit With Us are 2-0, while Y-Town are 0-2. You Can’t Sit With Us took the lead in the first half, scoring five goals and conceding two. Y-Town tried to mount a comeback in the second half, scoring two more goals, but You Can’t Sit With Us scored three more goals to seal the win.

The fourth game was a comfortable victory for AKC, who beat Y-Town 2.0 11-4. Both teams are 1-1, with AKC being ahead via goal difference. AKC scored six goals in the first half and five in the second, while Y-Town 2.0 scored two goals in each half. AKC displayed a clinical finishing and a strong defense, while Y-Town 2.0 struggled to create chances and stop the attacks.

The final game of the night was the first game for both FFC and BB2. FFC won the game 12-4, making a strong statement in their debut. The Men’s Tuesday Night Indoor League kicked off its season with four exciting games at Akron Indoor Soccer on November 7th. The league features eight teams competing for the championship trophy in a round-robin format.

Fireballs – Rays vs ACH FC

The first game of the night saw Fireballs – Rays take on ACH FC in a one-sided affair. Fireballs – Rays dominated the game from start to finish, scoring 10 goals and conceding only one. ACH FC tried to put up some resistance, but could not match the pace and skill of Fireballs – Rays.

Yellow vs Fireballs – GFS

The second game featured newcomer Yellow vs Fireballs – GFS, the veteran team that has won the league three times in a row. Yellow hoped to make a good impression in their debut, but they were quickly overwhelmed by Fireballs – GFS, who scored 12 goals and allowed only one. Fireballs – GFS showed why they are the favorites to win the league again, with a balanced attack and a solid defense.

My Adidas- Team in Black vs Kitec Red

The first match of the night saw You Can’t Sit With Us take on AKC in a one-sided affair. You Can’t Sit With Us showed their superior skills and teamwork as they scored 10 goals and conceded only two. AKC tried their best to keep up, but they were no match for the relentless pressure and pace of their opponents. The final score was 10-2 in favor of You Can’t Sit With Us, who claimed the top spot in the league table after the first week.

The second match was a similar story, as Sharp Shooters faced WHJ in another lopsided game. Sharp Shooters lived up to their name as they found the back of the net 10 times and allowed only three goals. WHJ struggled to cope with the sharp shooting and movement of their rivals, who dominated the possession and the chances. The final score was 10-3 for Sharp Shooters, who joined You Can’t Sit With Us at the top of the league with a perfect record.
