Week 4 of Tuesday Night Men’s League at Akron Indoor Soccer saw some exciting matches and high-scoring games. Here is a recap of the action:
- Black or White (2-2) 18 vs SELHUBM (2-2) 2: Black or White dominated this game from start to finish, scoring nine goals in each half and keeping a clean sheet until the final minutes. SELHUBM had no answer for the speed and skill of their opponents, who moved the ball with ease and created chances at will. This was the biggest win of the season so far for Black or White, who improved their record to 2-2 and moved up to third place in the standings.
- Yellow (1-2) 6 vs Kitec Red (1-2) 8: This was a close and competitive game, with both teams fighting hard for their second win of the season. Yellow took an early lead with two goals in the first five minutes, but Kitec Red responded with four goals of their own before halftime. The second half was more balanced, with each team scoring twice, but Kitec Red held on to their two-goal advantage and secured the victory. Yellow dropped to the bottom of the table with this loss, while Kitec Red climbed to fourth place.
- Fireballs – Rays (2-0) 18 vs The Bourbon Bandits (1-3) 4: Fireballs – Rays continued their unbeaten run with a convincing win over The Bourbon Bandits, who suffered their third defeat in a row. Fireballs – Rays showed their offensive firepower, scoring 10 goals in the first half and eight more in the second half. The Bourbon Bandits tried to keep up, but could only manage two goals in each half. Fireballs – Rays remained at the top of the table with a perfect 4-0 record, while The Bourbon Bandits stayed in fifth place.
- My Adidas – Team in Black (3-0) 9 vs Summit FC (2-2) 6 – game of the week: This was the most anticipated game of the week, as the two undefeated teams faced off in a battle for the first place. My Adidas – Team in Black came out on top, thanks to a strong second half performance. The first half was tight and tense, with both teams scoring three goals and defending well. The second half was more open and exciting, with My Adidas – Team in Black scoring six goals and Summit FC scoring three. My Adidas – Team in Black proved their quality and took the sole lead of the table with a 4-0 record, while Summit FC fell to second place with a 2-2 record.
